PIDA IG aims to be a forum for discussion, peer support and information, promoting best practice, disseminating knowledge and supporting research, advocacy and policy comment related to intellectual disability and to autism and to provide expert advice to the APS in this regard. As part of meeting our goals, we feel it is important for professionals who work in the field of intellectual disability and of autism to be aware of us and for us to form professional links with relevant groups outside of PIDA IG.
