Founded in 2011, ASfAR is a member based organisation devoted to advancing knowledge and understanding of autism across the lifespan through research and scholarship.

In the last few years, ASfAR has grown in membership of full (general and autistic researcher), associate, student and organisational members with representation across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific Region.
