The ASfAR biannual conference was held at Griffith University, Gold Coast, on 6-7 December 2018

Every three years, Autism-Europe organises an International Congress in cooperation with one of its member organisations.
Autism-Europe’s international congresses are dedicated to sharing advances in the practical and scientific knowledge of autism to as wide an audience as possible, including autistic people, researchers, professionals and parents.
The twelfth edition of Autism-Europe’s International Congress will take place in Nice (France) from September 13th to September 15th, 2019. The congress is organised by Autisme France, an association that advocates for autistic people and their families.
“A New Dynamic for Change and Inclusion” will be the theme of this congress.

Dear partners in the autism community,
It is my absolute delight that Singapore will be the host country for the 2019 Asia Pacific Autism Conference (APAC).
This is the first time APAC is held outside Australia since its inception in 2009.
The conference theme – “Thriving with Autism” reflects our aspiration towards achieving quality of life for all persons with autism, their families and the professionals serving in the community.
The Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis will provide graduates in psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, paediatrics or psychiatry with the specialist knowledge and clinical skills required to participate in multidisciplinary team assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Graduates from the program will be able to complete discipline-specific assessments of children and adults presenting for ASD diagnosis, prepare appropriate reports, effectively coordinate their work with other members of multidisciplinary teams and work responsibly in an agency providing diagnostic services.
